A Day at the Luna Bites Market

Our day at the Luna Bites Market

Yesterday we set up at the Luna Bites Market, and it turned into one of those quietly memorable days. The kind where you get home tired but in a good, satisfied way.

The market started off a bit chilly, and we were both fussing with the table, trying to get everything looking just right. It always takes a minute for the nerves to settle. But as soon as people started wandering over, asking questions, sneaking curious looks at the biltong samples and spice blends, it all felt worth it.

And honestly, Erin-Leigh was the star of the whole thing. I knew she would be. She has this natural way of talking to people that never feels forced. She was answering questions, explaining the flavours, joking with customers... and watching person after person walk away with a bag because of her. I just stood there half the time thinking she’s amazing!

There were a few moments that really stuck with me. Someone tried a sample and immediately did that little eyebrows-up thing, like oh wow. Another couple came back later saying they couldn’t stop thinking about the chilli biltong and bought another bag!
Everyone had good things to say when they gave the samples a try.

We didn’t just sell biltong yesterday. We met people, told our story, let them taste what makes Moncho different. And seeing Erin-Leigh step into that so naturally felt like a real highlight for me.

So yes… Luna Bites Market was a good day. We’ll definitely be back!
